Weird horse situation, any advice?

My horse used to be really easy to catch but lately when I go out to get him, he trots away to his pasture mate and bites or kicks them...then the other horses move away and he chases after them, which causes them to kick him. This charade continues for like 20 min lately until he stands like a gentleman and I catch him nicely. Do you know why he could be doing this or how I can correct it? Thanks
