Is this a good non-violent, smart thing for a guy to do if a girl is hitting him violently?

Well me being a gentleman, I was taught to respect and never hit a woman. But if she is hitting me to try to be a badass, Will me grabbing her shoulders, shaking her hard, putting my most angry face, and saying DONT DO THAT AGAIN! With an angry, growling, dominant voice make her stop? Would it make you stop.
