WOMEN: How many women actually prefer to be the "protector" in the relationship?

youre not looking for a woman, youre looking for a mama.....dont get me wrong, some women mother everything and everybody, you youll find one. im guilty of it to an extent with my husband, but not all the time. it doesnt matter which of us is going through something, the other is there for them, to hold them, to try to make it better in any way possible.but i cant see me being the "protector" all the time, it should go both ways....but im not a "typical" woman...never have been. my dad raised me like he would have a son until i was up in my teens and realized, hey, i AM a girl lol. i was always a tomboy so dad took advantage of that every chance he got...mom wasnt too thrilled, but i enjoyed it. i was taught to work, carry feed, throw hay bales, and help on the farm with the best of them, and i think its kind of carried into my adult life too. i dont think most females do much along the lines of "protecting" and i honestly wouldnt have anything to do with a man (romantically) that felt he needed me to protect him.
