I eat right, and I take in a lot of calories. I make sure that I get enough protein because I am trying to build muscle (I'm in training for the Coast Guard), yet my muscles are getting weaker rather than stronger. I used to be able to bench 20lbs more than I can right now, and my arms have, like, no definition at all. My pecs are shrinking too. My legs are getting weaker, I can't run as as far or for as long, I can only do 150 situps at a time where as I used to be able to do pretty close to 300... I don't understand why I'm weaker now than I was when I first started working out. Anyone have any ideas?
