Muscle recovery question?

So 2 days ago I did upper body, workout, including abs, biceps, pecs, triceps and forearms. To start with I didn't spend much time stretching before or after but I have rested my body a ton and eaten a lot of healthy food and protein. The pain is mainly in areas I had started to put more focus on (pecs and triceps). But the point is I am still sore as heck! Just every movement hurts it, did not properly stretching make the soreness worse? Or is it just the muscles got sort of a "surprise"?

Why are my muscles deteriorating?

I eat right, and I take in a lot of calories. I make sure that I get enough protein because I am trying to build muscle (I'm in training for the Coast Guard), yet my muscles are getting weaker rather than stronger. I used to be able to bench 20lbs more than I can right now, and my arms have, like, no definition at all. My pecs are shrinking too. My legs are getting weaker, I can't run as as far or for as long, I can only do 150 situps at a time where as I used to be able to do pretty close to 300... I don't understand why I'm weaker now than I was when I first started working out. Anyone have any ideas?

I went out with a guy who I thought was such a gentleman, classy, and genuine. The first time we met we get along sooo well, it was "to natural".During dinner, it felt like a freakin job interview. 320 pounds to my chest and it hurts what happened?

I am a 35 year old Professional male attorney.I am happy in life,love my job and fiancee. I am getting married in December. It seems that a lot of my friends from college and at work who range in age from 25-45 are refusing to get married and seem bitter at women. On fellow coworker who is an Attorney as well stated to me that if I get divorced I will lose half my money and custody of children(I want kids). Hey. Im really sorry. I saw this question and related instantly. Im only 15, but my father has never appriciated me, either. Hes a 40 year old drunk who hates me. Ive been skinny like my WHOLE LIFE. Im very active. Monday, tuesday are soccer pratice. Saturday is tournment or game. Sunday is a intensive pratice with a pro soccer player who played on the national german team and was in 2 world cups. Im very active and have alot of endurance but i recently broke my wrist playing soccer so i put on some fat. Ive been putting more on and on and i have a bad diet since i am moving to a different house in a different country so i can only eat fast food nothing that takes hours to prepare like we normally have. I usually never eat breakfast and have a moderate dinner and lunch. I snack alot on bad foods but usually i burn my calories and stay at a healthy weight. Im about 102-104 lbs and im 4 foot 11 inches. Im 14 years old and i think im getting ready for a growth suprt. Im now putting on fat so im densing up. Im not like out of breath or anything but i dont have a six-pack or pecs. Im very weak at my upperbody. I can lift about 400 pounds with my legs. No im not trolling. I just want to know if the exccess fat on my body can contribute to me growing and me thinning out because thats exactly what happeend with my friend. He was chubby his whole life and now he went through his growth spurts and his voice is deep and he has a visible six pack and pecs and things. Why did my parents circumcise me? :(?

Just ask your parents, there's nothing you can do to get it back. Although you could look into foreskin restoration if the damage is bothering you. Best home workout routine?

I have been doing my own home workout routine for the last 2 months for about 4 days a week but I am wanting to know what different or better techniques I can use to bulk up faster. I am only 60kg (132lbs) and I am 172cm in height, I am also 18 years old. I feel as though I am too skinny and look too weak so I would like to bulk up a bit, so please don't laugh at my workout routine as like I said, I do think I am fairly weak. My current routine is 80 15kg dumbell reps on each arm (split up into 20's on each arm), 200 cross armed sit-ups (split up into 100) and 40 lunges on each leg (split up into 20's, I know that isn't much but my legs are really weak). I currently don't have a pec building routine but I would like to start one, I just don't know what techniques would work best at home. I don't really have any equipment, all I have is a sit-up mat and dumbbells and weights.

Why did my housemate do this like a spoilt brat?

So our tenancy began about a year ago, there was 5 of us to move into a 5 bedroom house. Two of my housemates moved in first, but before anybody moved in we decided on who would have which room, there were 2 large rooms, 1 medium and 2 small. We live in western,NC now & it is horrible. They do the TEACCH program here & it just hasn't worked for him ever. He is now 9&1/2 yrs old. Completely Non-verbal. He has NO form of communication, PECS, signs or speech. He has severe behaviors because of this. His school called me in for a meeting to inform me today that the Speech Ther. & OT are dropping him in school (his 30 MINUTES/wk) because he just gets upset & they can't do anything for him. It is TIME TO GO FROM NC!!! He used to go to a private ABA school in Colorado, when my husband was in the ARMY there. He signed 5 signs in the 4 months he was there but stopped when we left & NOTHING since. Husband was med. discharged because of knees, we tried to fight it but were denied so we had to get out of ARMY & come home. Can Anyone tell me the best places for ABA IN SCHOOL? We can't afford it at home but he is in DIRE need of it. My husband will try to find a job where ever it is. Weird horse situation, any advice?

Chances of loose skin shrinking naturally?

So i was really obese and i decided i needed to change that, i was 250 lbs at my highest weight and im at 190 lbs right now. I'm a guy, 15 years old (almost 16) and im around 5'11"-6' tall. i lost 60 pounds over the course of about 7 months. I didn't necessarily achieve this weight loss in the healthiest way, i ate very little and i did cardio exercise every day for around an hour. I admit i did loose the weight pretty fast and i have done my research and from what Ive read, the faster you loose weight the less likely it is to shrink back. when i stand up my skin isn't noticeably saggy (unless you pull it) but if im sitting it folds in on itself. When i was really fat my stomach had like hard fat (if that makes sense?) and now its very very squishy. I can actually feel my abs now and i can sorta tell that there is defiantly a six pack under there however its not visible through the skin. Also, my arms especially have a lot of loose skin and i can pull a good 3 inches of skin on my arm. Im sure ive lost quite a bit of muscle with my weight loss as well, since i was able to bench 185 lbs at one point (max) now i can barely do 3 reps of 135 lbs. Im not focusing on weight loss anymore, instead i started p90x (Day 8!) Im doing everything i can, im even following the p90x nutrition guide somewhat (it tells me i should be getting 2800 calories a day although that's alot for me so im only eating like 2400 a day) My question is, if my skin will go back how long would that take? Also (this is kinda embarrassing) but one of my pecs is lower than the other one, it was like this even when i was over weight. Is there anything i can do to fix that without surgery as well? It looks weird and id like it to be normal but i try not to let it bother me so i still will take off my shirt but id much rather have it look normal.

when you first get back into it your muscles will stiffen up because your body has been inactive for so long but after a while you should get that stiffness anymore. but don't forget to stretch, its kinda important. especially for minimal rest between sets or cardio

You were or are not smitten with "him", you are smitten with what you saw in him. You don't even know him so you cannot say you were smitten with him. Once you really know someone then perhaps you can say that. So take what it is you liked about him and look for those traits in someone else. He comes into your head because you liked what you did see. Just keep in mind that was a tiny part of who he is. And one should never be smitten with first impressions because those could easily be faked.

Movie buffs....I need help with this early eighties film. Do you know the name of it?

There was a movie that I saw a while back. I can't remember the title to save my life. The movie was set in London. It was a murder mystery. This english gentleman was a connoisseur of cuisine. But for some reason all of his favorite chefs were getting murdered. The english guy was kind of unhealthy from all the food and I think he was told that he had hardening of the arteries. Turned out that his maid/personal assistant committed the murders because she didn't want him to continue to eat what his favorite chefs would cook and die. If anyone has any idea as to what I'm speaking of...please help. Thanks

Are Aries guys the most judgmental? Why?

I went out with an aries guy who I thought was such a gentleman, classy, and genuine. The first time we met we get along sooo well, it was "to natural".During dinner, it felt like a freakin job interview. I know you're supposed to get to know each other but dang, I wasn't expecting to get asked all these "wifey" questions and get judged on it. I am who I am and will not apologize for it but the whole time, he made it seem like my answers weren't "good enough" or not what he was looking for. I'm a lady, good girl, friendly/easygoing, gets along w. everyone. I'm not your average woman, I'm me. And here's this guy, asking, "do you get along w. your co-workers? are you an angry person?" WTH?! I appreciate honest/straight forward people but really? Even if I did give him "answers" he was looking for, you're not really gonna get these answers unless you back it up with experience and observation. It's like "oh she didn't give me the answers I wanted, that saved me such heartache." He just made me feel like I wasn't "good enough" and came across as judgmental and it's like he kept asking questions to make sure he didn't get hurt. Like, "if i get these answers, i'll know if she'll screw me over or not..." He never called. Maybe it's a blessing. It's been a while and in my head, any respectable person would not want to be w. someone so judgmental and have a "job interview" experience but I can't help but be a bit traumatized by it still. I think it's because I didn't go through the motions; I avoided feeling rejection bc I was afraid it would make me feel worse and lead me on a path of self-wallowing and self pity. (I USED to be like that before and took rejection badly but for the past 2 yrs, I've been surprisingly better about it). All I know is that I'm a busy gal and I don't like people being indecisive and wasting my time. I been talking to this dude for almost 4 months now. He have asked me out before but I haven't gave him an answer and when we are together all we do is stay at his place watch movies , he cooks and we cuddle and have sex. Lately things have be different, I'm not feeling him anymore. And I went off on him when I was drunk last weekend. I worked out a bit today and my pecs feel weird?

i worked out a bit today and my pecs feel weird. I tried doing a push up but my right pec feels like i'm having a cramp, it only occurs when i use this muscle.... it feels like a mini cramp but as long as i flex the muscle i have that feeling otherwise its normal the part that feels weird is the armpit spot

As you may be familiar with the Islamic faith men are allowed to have up to 4 wives, being that they provide them with equal accommodations. Well living in the 21st century United States, that is not as highly regarded nor positively accepted by women of the Islamic faith. I never thought I would be in this position, but I met this gentlemen and after 5 months of a strong committed relationship we began discussing plans of marriage. However, before continuing our plans he revealed to me that he had been married for a year and a half in another country. Me being the women that I'am gave him the ultimatum of divorcing her and continue life with me. Four months later, of patiently waiting and agonizing arguments, he has not divorced the other lady and I'm left no solution but to leave. 3 Ton A/C for 1096 sq. ft. cinder block home?

I have a house that is made completely of cinder block (even interior walls). I also have single pane windows and a metal roof with no insulation what so ever. It is a open floor plan 2 bedroom home. My question is that I had a 2 ton unit that went out last week and the HVAC gentleman said a 2.5 ton would work but really suggested a 3 ton. The 3 ton is $1000 more and I really want to be sure that I have the most efficient A/C for my size house and building materials. Humidity tends to build quite a bit because of the st up. I like to trust the professionals but don't think it hurts to get a second opinion. Thank you all. Note: it is a dry air unit, whatever that means.

It all depends on you and what you like to do. You could do a full body workout about 3 times a week with a days rest in between each workout, so you can let your body rest and repair. If you work muscles to much then they wont get any bigger, an could possibly become smaller. You can work bigger muscles such as pectorals more often then smaller ones like biceps and triceps. Make sure that you are also eating the right food. :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some women are attracted to muscle men - I'm not, particularly. Some guys like skinny women, some like women with a bit of meat on their bones etc - it could go on endlessly. Everyone is different and everyone is attractive to someone along the way. Don't worry about it. There is no 'right way' to be attractive despite what the media tries to sell us. :-)

Why did I loose all my muscle after getting badly sunburnt?

I had some nice pecs, chiseled abs, etc. But I spent a couple hrs at the pool on monday and got badly burnt all over my body. Only part that didnt burn was what my shorts covered. And now, three days later, it doesnt hurt as much. Im still burnt & what not, but my whole body has changed. My abs are barely visible and I got the flattest chest ever! Why?!?!?!?!

Push ups are an excellent start but even though you don't want 6 pack abs etc. it is beneficial for you to work other areas of your body as well. Go and buy 2 dumbbells and look up various exercises on the internet. But do keep up the body weight exercises and try variations of the push up such as decline, incline, Hindu, one arm, diamond and hip. These will help to build muscle over your whole body. Don't expect any instant results, unfortunately. Good luck

i know this question is kinda weird but, i prefer having hard nipples all the time because it makes my pecs more defined and my pecs look good.
